We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental office management, with proficiency in Tracker and electronic medical records. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a keen understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to manage human resources effectively. The Dental Office Manager will ensure that our office runs smoothly while providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Manage scheduling, patient records, and billing processes using Tracker and electronic medical records systems.
- Supervise staff, including dental assistants and administrative personnel, fostering a positive work environment.
- Handle human resources tasks such as hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain compliance with health regulations and standards within the dental practice.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial stability of the office.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to optimize patient treatment plans and office procedures.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner to enhance patient satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is required.
- Minimum of 5+ years in the dental field with minimum of 2+ years as an Office Manager
- Familiarity with Tracker software is essential for managing patient records efficiently.
- Experience in supervising staff and managing human resources functions is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and electronic medical records systems is necessary for effective communication within the team.
- Background in budgeting or financial management within a healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Previous experience in dental settings or acute care environments will be considered a plus.
