Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist and certified Level II Dental Assistant to be the welcoming face and organization backbone of our rapidly growing practice.
Our dental team is made up of 2 Dentists, 5 Hygienists, 2 Dental Assistants and 4 Administrative staff members. We provide services for all ages in preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Responsibilities:
1. Patient Relations:
- Greet / seat patients warmly and ensure their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit
- Address patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients to confirm upcoming visits or treatment plans
2. Administrative Duties:
- Answer phones
- Process payments
- Electronically send and receive claims to insurance companies regarding treatments
- Transmit correspondence and medical records by mail, e-mail or fax
3. Dental Assisting / Rovering Responsibilities:
- Chairside dental assisting
- Sterilization of instruments
- Sterilize operatories in between patients
- Assist the dental hygiene team with perio charting
3. Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years Dental Office Experience
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant
- Experience with Dentrix is preferred but not essential

WORK HOURS INCLUDE:
Monday to Tuesday: 9:00am to 6:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Wednesday to Thursday: 10:00 to 6:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Friday - 9:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
