Position Overview:
As a Certified Level 2 Dental Assistant you will be a crucial member of our dental team, contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch patient care. Your role will encompass a range of clinical and administrative responsibilities, and we are seeking an individual with dental assisting experience who is dedicated to patient satisfaction. With this position you will also be assisting with various front desk duties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Perform reception duties including; confirming patients, answering calls/patient enquiries, dismissing patients and completing patient billings.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Level 2 Dental Assistant.
- Previous experience as a dental assistant or in a related role is preferred.
- Previous reception experience
- Proficiency in dental software for patient records and appointment scheduling.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- High energy, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of dental insurance billing and claims procedures is a plus.
