The primary purpose of the Dental Hygienist is to ensure good dental health for patients by ensuring they are taken to the correct treatment plan, cleaning, and making sure the patient has all required supplies. The Dental Hygienist should be able to explain to the patient and their family how to maintain good oral health habits. The Dental Hygienist should be knowledgeable in general dentistry and able to make general dental treatments such as crowns, bridges, root canals, and fillings. The Dental Hygienist should be able to use instruments properly and should be skilled in hygiene and in teaching hygiene principles to new patients. The Hygienist must be friendly, reliable, organized, and dedicated.
Qualifications:
- Active Hygienist’s license in Ontario
- Active CPR certification
- At least 6 months of experience in a general dental office as a Dental Hygienist or similar role
- HARP Certification
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
