Job Summary
Our family owned (non-corporate) dental clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our incredible patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with constant team support.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
- Assist in the management of patient records using Open Dental software
- Provide exceptional patient care to enhance the overall patient experience
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and be eager to continue learning and growing in the profession.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred
- Familiarity with Open Dental software is desirable but training will be provided
- LAPT and hybanex treatments can be offered
Hours are full time (4-5 days a week) with one evening (Thursday) until 7:00PM and only one Saturday per month. Compensation is competative and a benefits package is available for the right candidate.
