Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Orthodontic Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. Responsibilities
- Perform orthodontic procedures under order of Orthodontist (placing/removing archwires, removing attachments, fitting separators, impressions/scans, etc.)
- Provide oral hygiene instructions and patient education tailored to orthodontic appliances
- Conduct periodontal charting, prophylaxis, and preventive hygiene services as needed
- Assist with orthodontic records: photos, radiographs, iTero scans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation
- Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
- Support clinic flow by preparing rooms, managing patient transitions, and coordinating with the team
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative work culture
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
- Orthodontic module or demonstrable orthodontic experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical environment
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00-$58.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
