Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and possess strong clinical skills. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for delivering comprehensive dental services to patients of all ages, with a focus on general dentistry.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dental treatments
- Utilize digital tools such as uteri for designing restorations and prosthetics
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental practice management - Paradigm
- Communicate treatment options clearly to patients, ensuring understanding and comfort
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Stay current with advancements in dental techniques, materials, and technology
- Maintain a clean, sterile environment adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Educate patients on oral health care practices tailored to pediatric and adult patients
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Experience working in a dental office setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Experience or interest in pediatrics is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and maintaining high clinical standards
- Proficiency in endodontics is an asset
