Locum Registered Dental Hygienist – Bermuda (3-Month Assignment Starting January!) We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established private dental practice on the beautiful island of Bermuda, for an experienced Locum Registered Dental Hygienist to join their team for a 3-month contract beginning January.If you’re ready for a rewarding professional experience and an island adventure, this opportunity is for you!
What You Will Do
As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will provide a full scope of patient care, including:
- Conducting patient screening: oral health assessments, health history reviews, oral cancer screenings, head & neck exams, dental charting
- Taking high-quality dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Removing calculus and plaque from all tooth surfaces
- Applying preventive materials (sealants, fluoride, etc.)
- Educating patients on oral hygiene, brushing & flossing techniques, and nutrition
- Taking impressions for study models
- Performing documentation and contributing to office management duties
What You Will Need
- Minimum 3 years' experience with children and adult/perio patients
- Must be licensed and registered with the appropriate Professional Board
- Proficiency with practice management software
- Invisalign patient treatment experience
- iTero scanning skills
- Must be proficient in digital radiography
- Valid passport required
- Knowledge of Invisalign is essential
