- Friday: 8:00- 4:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00- 3:30 pm
- Monday: 9:00- 5:00 pm
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support the overall health and well-being of our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and adherence to infection control protocols. The Registered Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience and maintain high standards of clinical excellence.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, while ensuring patient comfort.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current health status.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations for maintaining oral health.
- Take medical imaging such as X-rays in accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review medical records and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy for each patient visit.
- Follow strict infection control procedures using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
- Support pediatric dentistry services by providing specialized care tailored to children’s needs.
- Adhere to all dental terminology standards and assist in medical coding for billing purposes when necessary.
- Ensure the dental office environment remains sterile, organized, and compliant with all safety guidelines.
Skills
- Proficiency in Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and record management.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
- Experience with medical imaging equipment and interpreting radiographs.
- Ability to perform patient care tasks including vital signs measurement and patient assessment effectively.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles and procedures is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records confidentiality.
- Ability to work efficiently in general dentistry settings with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

Pay: $55.00-$67.00 per hour
