Job Description:
As a Dental Administrative Coordinator, you will play a vital role in keeping our practice running smoothly. This position requires an experienced, highly organized, and professional individual who can handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office administration, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management: Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow in a busy office.
- Insurance Verification & Billing: Verify insurance coverage, submit claims, follow up on unpaid claims, and ensure accurate billing.
- Patient Records Management: Maintain and update patient files, ensuring all records are complete and up-to-date.
- Coordination of Treatment Plans: Work with patients and dental professionals to discuss treatment plans, appointments, and follow-up care.
- Communication: Provide excellent communication with patients, staff, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
- Compliance and Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in dental office administration
- Proficient with dental management software Cleardent.
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance processes, billing, and coding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in specialty fields such as Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Pediatrics is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with digital imaging and dental technology is a plus.
