We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our well-established dental practice in Victoria, BC. Our team takes great pride in building lasting relationships with our patients—many of whom have trusted us with their care for decades.

The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional patient care, perform comprehensive dental cleanings, and contribute to a warm, efficient, and patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including probing, scaling and polishing teeth
- Take digital dental radiographs as needed Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the general state of their dentition, and its impact on their overall health
- Perform oral cancer screening on all patients Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix (we are happy to assist with dentrix training)
- Maintain infection control protocols
- Build strong patient relationships, and rapport
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up care instructions efficiently
- Support the overall smooth operation of the dental office Qualifications
Qualifications
- We have an office dog (who is INCREDIBLY friendly)
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with BCCOHP
- Prior experience in a dental office setting is valued, but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols
- Ability to work well within a team while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $58.00-$63.00 per hour
