Position Responsibilities
- Perform thorough oral hygiene assessments, cleanings, sealants, and preventive therapy
- Utilize Guided Biofilm Therapy protocols to improve periodontal health
- Take and review digital x‑rays as needed
- Complete Oral examinations
- Maintain accurate, paperless charting in compliance with privacy standards
- Collaborate with hygiene assistants to deliver optimal patient care
- Educate patients on preventive care, oral hygiene techniques, and overall wellness
- Uphold infection control and safety standards in the clinic
- 30hrs per week
Qualifications
- Current registration/licensure as a Dental Hygienist in Alberta
- Strong knowledge of periodontal disease, preventive care, and Guided Biofilm Therapy
- Comfort with digital x‑ray equipment and paperless charting systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team‑oriented approach, with a willingness to work alongside hygiene assistants
