Certified Dental Assistant – Full-Time
Location: Glencoe Family Dentistry
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our friendly team at Glencoe Family Dentistry.
Position Details:
- Hours: Monday-Friday, includes one evening and 2 Saturdays per month
- Compensation: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities include:
- Chair-side assisting in surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Taking digital x-rays
- Writing/taking notes for the dentists
- Clinical charting in the odontogram
- Interacting with patients, staff, and doctors
- Ordering and ensuring that supplies are in-stock from approved vendors
- Lab case management
- Participating in Continuing Education events
- Infection control and sterilization
- Clinical health and safety management
- Assisting with lab tasks as needed
- Scheduling appointments in operatory
- Basic administrative tasks as needed (front desk)
Qualifications:
- Certified Dental Assistant Level II
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Team-oriented and dependable
