Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (Saturdays)

We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join a busy, modern dental practice in downtown Toronto for two Saturdays per month. This role is ideal for a hygienist who enjoys delivering thorough, patient-focused care in a well-organized clinical environment.

The Role
This position focuses on providing high-quality dental hygiene care in a calm, respectful setting. Saturdays are well-structured, with patients who appreciate preventive dentistry and value long-term oral health.
Key duties include:
- Delivering comprehensive dental hygiene treatment, including scaling, polishing, periodontal assessments, and preventive care
- Taking dental radiographs as needed
- Performing intraoral scans using digital scanning technology to support diagnosis and patient education
- Assessing periodontal health and identifying areas of concern
- Educating patients on oral health, hygiene techniques, and long-term maintenance
- Maintaining accurate clinical notes and documentation
- Adhering to all infection control and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the CDHO
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient comfort and education
- Confident, professional chairside communication
- Comfortable working in a digital, paperless environment
- Experience with dental software and digital tools (Tracker experience is an asset)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while collaborating with the team
