Job Summary
West Market Dental located in the SW area of Signal Hill is seeking an experienced (preferably a minimum of 2-4 yrs) Dentist (DDS) to join our team for a full time position, Tues-Fri. Our long term, loyal and dedicated team is comprised of 3 dentists and 4 hygienists and we are looking to replace one of our Drs who is moving on to her next chapter. We are a well established (20 yrs+) and fully digital progressive family practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in all facets of dentistry including Botox, Invisalign, Implants, Extractions/Surgeries, Crowns etc. They must be a strong communicator and a dedicated team player! Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Perform procedures including restorations, extractions, and pain management strategies and willing to increase their skillset
- Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses
- Collect and document patient data accurately for records
- Collaborate with team to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
Experience
- Prior clinical experience in a dental clinic is mandatory
- Proficiency in medical terminology, medication administration, and data collection methods required
- Familiarity with Dentrix ideal
- Experience working collaboratively within a team setting
- DDS or DMD degree and licensed to practice in Alberta
