Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take digital X-rays
- Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately in patient records
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with preparation and sterilization of instruments
- Manage patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations
- Utilize dental software such as Gold Dental software for scheduling, record keeping, and billing processes
- Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming environment tailored to their needs
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations and patient flow
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of Gold Dental software or similar dental practice management software is advantageous
- Experience with GBT cleanings and periodontic treatment is preferred
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations but NOT required
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages

Pay: $50.00-$68.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
