Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our pediatric dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth operation of the front desk. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team environment and contribute to patient care excellence. Also note that we do have the ability to process an LMIA if necessary for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage appointment scheduling and rescheduling efficiently
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
- Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and processing payments
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
- Assist with patient correspondence, including reminders and follow-ups
Skills
- Previous experience in a dental office
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and organisation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software (Open Dental) is desirable
- Friendly, professional demeanour with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $44,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
