Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Saturdays
Location: McConachie Dental, Edmonton, Alberta
Position: Part-Time (Saturdays)
Our friendly and patient-focused dental practice in Edmonton, Alberta is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team on Saturdays. This position is ideal for a hygienist looking to supplement an existing schedule or maintain part-time hours in a supportive, modern clinic.
We are committed to providing high-quality preventive dental care and creating a comfortable experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
- Provide dental hygiene services including scaling, root planing, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
- Perform oral health assessments and periodontal charting.
- Take and interpret digital radiographs as required.
- Educate patients on preventive oral health care and hygiene techniques.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment notes.
- Follow infection prevention and control (IPAC) standards.
- Work collaboratively with the dentist and clinical team to deliver excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta (CRDHA).
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Experience with Dentrix dental practice management software is an asset.
