Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. Candidates with experience in a periodontal practice with Local Anaesthetic are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist in patient examinations and record keeping using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure the cleanliness of treatment areas
- Manage patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Document treatment plans, patient histories, and other relevant information accurately using medical terminology
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations
Experience
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience preferred
- Local Anaesthetic preferred

Pay: $70.00-$75.00 per hour
