We are currently seeking an Orthodontic Dental Hygienist to join our growing, dynamic team to fill an upcoming vacancy.
This is a permanent part-time position working two days per week: Wednesday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Once per month, Thursday hours are 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. No evenings or weekends required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bonding brackets and orthodontic appliances
- Removal of brackets and orthodontic appliances
- Remove bonding adhesive with a high-speed handpiece
- Placing and removing arch wires
- Delivery of Invisalign and placement/removal of Invisalign attachments
- Taking impressions for orthodontic appliances
- Chart procedures
- Provide oral health education, appliance, and elastic instructions to our patients and families
- Managing the patient experience through exceptional customer service skills and informing patients/parents on treatment progress
- Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program in Ontario
- Registered with the CDHO and in good standing
- Previous orthodontic experience is strongly preferred
