SMiiL Heights Dental Hygiene Clinic is an independent dental hygiene practice located in Crescent Heights, Calgary, focused on prevention-based care in a modern, welcoming environment.
We are currently seeking an Independent Registered Dental Hygienist interested in practicing with full clinical autonomy and flexible scheduling.
This role is ideal for a hygienist who is looking to step away from the traditional dental office model and practice with greater independence, while still having access to a fully equipped clinic without the financial risk or overhead of opening their own practice.
About the Opportunity
This position is best suited for a hygienist who has an existing patient base or is interested in building their own clientele. Hygienists are responsible for bringing in and managing their own patients, while the clinic provides the infrastructure and environment to support independent practice.
This is a great opportunity for a hygienist who has considered starting a mobile hygiene practice or independent clinic, but would prefer to practice in an established setting without the costs and responsibilities of running a full clinic.

Hygienist Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services including exams, radiographs, scaling, polish, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Build and manage your own patient base
- Enter patient insurance information and maintain appointment scheduling for your patients
Hygienists will typically work independently in the clinic, with administrative support available in the background as needed.

- Registered Dental Hygienist licensed to practice in Alberta

Schedule
Flexible. Hygienists may schedule patients on days that work best for their availability.
Compensation
Compensation is based on a production-based independent contractor model. Details will be discussed during the interview process.
