Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist for evenings 5-9pm with potential of 12-9pm. And weekends 8-4pm.
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional CLINICAL patient care, is FRIENDLY AND KIND and supports the dental team.
This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, professional environment with a focus on patient education and comfort. The position requires a licensed hygienist with strong communication skills and a passion for helping patients achieve healthy smiles.
Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take dental radiographs and intraoral photos proficiently
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Manage patient appointments, and treatment plans
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
- Ensure the sterilization of dental instruments and maintain a clean treatment environment
- Address patient questions regarding procedures and post-treatment care
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth office operations
Experience
- min 2 years experience
- itero scanning an asset
- ortho photo experience an asset
- know how to speak and discuss invisalign an asset
- paradigm experience preferred
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse patient populations
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient comfort and education
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $38.00-$65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week
