Uptown Park Dental in New Westminster BC is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team on Monday& Saturdays 7:45am-4:15pm, with the potential for additional hours. The position requires a professional with strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of dental hygiene and patient service.
Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist with dental examinations and procedures under the supervision of the dentist
- Manage patient records accurately using Tracker or similar dental management software
- Provide support during orthodontic treatments and pediatric dental procedures when necessary
- Ensure a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment in compliance with health regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing questions about treatments and oral health concerns
