Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist working on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and will play a crucial role in promoting oral health. This position requires a strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including children.
Mandarin language skills are an asset.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software.
- Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; knowledge of orthodontics is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
