Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental office environment. Duties
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent oral diseases
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix
- Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments efficiently
- Ensure the sterilization of dental instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care, including orthodontic support if applicable
- Stay current with industry best practices, including updates in medical terminology and dental procedures
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is advantageous
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations
- Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour
