Position: Dental Assistant

We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join a well-established, patient-focused clinic in Central Alberta. Specifics about the role:
- Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent
- Schedule: Tuesdays 9:00– 5:00 PM, Thursdays 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Fridays 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and two Saturdays per month (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

What you’ll do:
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following infection control protocols
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures
- Take and develop X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records
- Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication
- Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Registration as a Dental Assistant in Alberta
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Experience with dental software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is an asset
