We’re Hiring: Travelling Orthodontic Hygienist & Ortho Treatment Coordinator

We’re looking for a highly organized, patient-centered Registered Dental Hygienist to join our orthodontics team in a unique hybrid role supporting multiple clinics alongside our Orthodontist Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration, and building strong patient relationships while working in a dynamic, travel-based environment.
This position blends clinical orthodontic hygiene responsibilities with treatment coordination and patient education, making it ideal for someone who thrives in both patient care and communication-focused roles.

What the Role Looks Like
- Full-time opportunity
- Travel required between Anytime Dental Group clinics across the GTA and Hamilton region
- Days, evenings, and occasional weekends required
- Compensation: $55-60 per hour based on experience
- Mileage/travel support available
What You’ll Be Doing
Clinical & Orthodontic Support
- Deliver hygiene services within orthodontic workflows and clinical protocols
- Support orthodontic procedures and patient appointments alongside the Orthodontist Lead
- Take records including digital scans, photos, and radiographs as required
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, aligner compliance, and long-term treatment success
- Monitor patient progress and communicate clinical observations with the orthodontic team
- Ensure a comfortable, positive, and high-quality patient experience across all clinics
Treatment Coordination & Patient Experience
- Guide patients through orthodontic treatment plans and next steps
- Help patients understand treatment options, timelines, and financial considerations
- Support case presentations and conversion conversations with confidence and professionalism
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and maintain clear communication throughout treatment
- Build strong patient relationships through empathy, education, and consistency
- Work closely with clinic teams to ensure smooth scheduling and operational flow
What You Bring
- Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree
- Registered and in good standing with the CDHO
- Valid malpractice/liability insurance (CDHA or ODHA)
- IPAC certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, multi-clinic environment
- Is confident communicating with patients about treatment and care plans
- Brings a polished, professional, and patient-first approach
- Is adaptable, organized, and comfortable managing changing schedules
- Works well independently while collaborating across multiple teams
- Is comfortable with dental software, digital workflows, and orthodontic technology
- Loves building relationships and creating a positive patient experience
Nice to Have
- Previous orthodontic experience
- Experience with iTero scanning and digital workflows
- Treatment coordination or case presentation experience
- Experience with Invisalign or clear aligner workflows
