Chestermere Smiles Dental is dedicated to providing exceptional family dental care in a friendly and welcoming environment. We are currently seeking to expand our team with a skilled Dental Hygienist to cover a maternity leave position (18 months).This position could be part time or full time.
Summary
As a Dental Hygienist at Chestermere Smiles Dental, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental hygiene services to our patients. This part-time to full-time position and offers an opportunity to work in a supportive team environment. New Graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and provide preventative care to patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans using Dentrix software.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and questions.
Requirements
- Proficient in using Dentrix software for patient management is a bonus.
- Strong understanding of dental office procedures and protocols.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is an asset.
Hours:
Monday and Wednesday 11-7
Tuesday 10-6
Thursday 12-5
Saturdays 9-3 (2 per month)
