Job Summary*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology and experience in managing administrative functions within a healthcare setting. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage budgets, and proficiency in electronic medical records systems, particularly Open dental. The Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient office operations while providing support to both staff and patients.
*Responsibilities*
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
- Manage staff schedules, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Handle budgeting and financial management for the office, including monitoring expenses and revenue.
- Ensure the office adheres to all safety protocols and maintains a clean and organized environment.
- Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and managing employee records.
- Provide support in acute care settings as needed, ensuring that patient care is prioritized.
*Experience*
- Previous experience as an Office Manager in a dental office is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and healthcare practices is essential.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems, specifically Open Dental, is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, and healthcare providers.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within a healthcare context is beneficial.
