The Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, results-driven, and passionate about building patient trust through clear, confident, and compassionate communication. You will play a key role in guiding patients through their treatment journey, ensuring they understand both procedures and financial options.
Key Responsibilities
- Present and explain treatment plans, procedures, and financial options with clarity and empathy.
- Coordinate appointments and follow-ups using Dentrix and Recall Max.
- Provide outstanding customer service at every interaction.
- Answer phone calls and manage scheduling inquiries professionally.
- Submit accurate insurance claims and follow up on pre-authorizations.
- Prepare and present payment plans and treatment estimates.
- Conduct new patient interviews and manage onboarding communications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and timely follow-ups.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless care.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of dental reception experience (treatment coordinator experience is an asset).
- Proficient in Dentrix and Recall Max.
- Strong communication skills — verbal and written.
- Ability to explain insurance breakdowns and treatment plans clearly.
- Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
