Overview
Rundle Dental is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health practices. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other staff members in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, probing, and taking vital signs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and preventative care techniques.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cleardent software, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
- Manage sterilization of instruments and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area.
- Work with pediatric patients, creating a welcoming environment that encourages good dental habits from an early age.
Skills
- Proficiency in using Cleardent and MaxAssist or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and address their needs.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience working in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
- Bilingual abilities are an asset, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
- A passion for working with children in a pediatric setting is beneficial for engaging young patients.
