Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist/Office Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office reception, exceptional administrative skills, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. This role requires proficiency in Abeldent system and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and excellent customer service.
- Oversee scheduling of appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the dental team.
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues related to appointments or billing.
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Supervise office staff, including dental receptionists and administrative personnel, providing training and support as needed.
- Manage all staffing requirements on a day to day basis and long term
- Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and growth.
- Utilize software systems effectively for patient management and record keeping.
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes, ensuring accuracy in claims submission.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is required.
- Proficiency in using Abeldent electronic dental records systems is required.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience managing multi-line phone systems effectively.
- Administrative experience with a focus on front desk operations is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for interacting with patients and staff.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
