Job Overview
We are seeking a permanent part time dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The days required are Wednesday 8-2, Thursday 8-4, Friday 8-4. No evenings or weekends!! We are a certified GBT practice with all of the technology, including AI assisted xray analysis, to assist in education and documentation. We have an amazing supportive team with a dedicated steritech to hygiene. Hygienists are given tailored apt lengths based on the patients needs with an hour and a half for recall and hygiene. On boarding based on comfort level will be provided prior to providing patient care.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental hygiene procedures and examinations to assess oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Take dental radiographs as needed.
- Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Cleardent software.
- Assist in the management of patient flow and ensure a positive experience in the dental office
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Skills
- Proficiency in Cleardent software an asset
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
- Knowledge of GBT Airflow technology an asset
