Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental office environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, professional setting with a focus on patient education and oral health promotion.
Duties
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing of patients’ teeth
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software
- Ensure sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment
- Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
- Assist with orthodontic procedures when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience
Skills
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations

- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with compassionate communication
- Background in dental assisting is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols
