Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental office environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive team focused on promoting oral health and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Ensure the sterilization of dental instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
- Support the overall efficiency of the dental office by handling administrative tasks as needed
Skills
- Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental software systems
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling, root planing, assessments, and oral health education
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes
- Support patients in long-term oral health planning and ongoing hygiene maintenance
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure an exceptional patient experience
- Maintain infection control and sterilization standards
Hours are as follows:
Mondays 9-5 pm
Tues - Thurs 7-3 pm
Fridays 8-3pm
One Saturday a month from 9-3pm

Pay: $46.61-$67.24 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
