Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Dentrix software and experience in various dental specialties such as orthodontics, pediatrics, and dental assisting are highly desirable.
Tuesdays 12-8
Thursdays 11-7
Saturdays 9-4
Sundays 10-4
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- knowledge about Arrestin application is an asset
- Assist the dentist during examinations
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cleardent software, including treatment plans and medical histories.
- Provide support in managing patient flow within the office to enhance customer service experiences.
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience with Cleardent software is preferred.
- Background in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse patient base.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable, particularly in customer service roles.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
