Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Curve Dental.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties when needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
- Support orthodontic procedures and provide assistance with pediatric patients as necessary.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices in dental assisting to enhance patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with familiarity in orthodontics being a plus.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems like Curve Dental is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is an advantage.

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
