Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice, as one of our associates is nearing retirement and cutting his his hours down. The position is three days a week now but will be full-time in the near future. The ideal candidate must be passionate about providing high-quality dental care and will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Conduct a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
