Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and proficiency with Dentrix & Dexis software systems. The Registered Dental Hygienist will play a vital role in patient education, assessment, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and documentation.
Duties
- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and polishing to maintain optimal oral health for patients of all ages.
- EMS System
- Conduct patient assessments including vital signs, medical history review, and oral examinations.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Utilize dental software Dentrix for charting, documentation review, and medical coding.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Experience
- Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist .
- Proficiency with dental practice management software Dentrix
- Knowledge of medical imaging, vital signs monitoring, and infection control protocols is essential.
- Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge related to oral health and comprehensive patient assessment skills.
