Job Title: Dental Administrator / Dental Office Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Administrator/ Treatment coordinator to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front-desk operations, coordinating treatment/ patient appointments, handling billing and insurance processes, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience. Must have good knowledge of CDCP program. Abeldent experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Patient Coordination

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional manner
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality

Billing & Insurance

Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims
Process payments, invoices, and refunds
Explain treatment plans, estimates, and payment options to patients

Administrative Duties

Maintain accurate patient files and electronic dental records
Manage correspondence, referrals, and documentation
Order office supplies and coordinate with vendors
Assist with compliance to dental regulations and office policies

Practice Support

Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and clinical staff
Support daily workflow and help resolve scheduling or billing issues
Maintain a clean, professional reception area

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification is an asset)
Previous experience in dental administration or medical office administration preferred
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance billing
Proficiency with dental practice management software
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
Professional, friendly demeanor with a patient-focused approach
