The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care, excellent bed side manner and be knowledgeable in all aspects of dental hygiene, including scaling, root planning, polishing, and patient education. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all patients receive the highest level of care.
Qualifications :
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in Ontario, Minimum 1-2 yrs Experience
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program, Valid CPR
- Knowledge of DENTRIX software is as asset
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on oral health practices effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Commitment to following infection control protocols and maintaining a safe working environment

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain dental equipment and instruments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Perform oral examinations, including taking x-rays/ PAN
- Remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth.
- Apply preventive materials to teeth, such as sealants and fluorides.
- Document dental history or chief complaint; perform an oral cancer screening.
- Provide patient education on diet, nutrition, and other topics related to oral health.
Salary: COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION ,$45.00-$50.00 per hour
