Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team with experience of at least 1 year of Canadian dental experience.
We are specifically looking for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings and oral hygiene procedures for patients
- Conduct thorough oral examinations and screenings
- Take dental x-rays/ Panoramic x-rays
- Dental scanning with our 3d prime scan( training will be provided)
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting in Abeldent software
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene principles and practices
- Proficient in using Abeldent software for patient records management
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Experience working with all ranges of patient ages is preferred
-English language skills must be strong
- Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and techniques
- Knowledge of orthodontics is advantageous
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
