Job Overview
Looking for an energetic and efficient Dental Office Manager/Front receptionist to join our team at our dental office! Responsibilities include looking after the day to day operations of the office as well as appointment scheduling, treatment coordination. Dental administrative experience is a must. Looking for long term staff who can grow with our dental clinic. The current office manager is retiring. Our clinic has been serving patients for more than 30 years, with long term stable employees. Solo dentist office. Training available, compensation depends on experience and education.
Duties
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
- Supervise staff, providing training and performance evaluations as needed
- Oversee billing, coding, and insurance claims processing using dental software
- Assist with patient inquiries and resolve concerns promptly
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Collect payments as treatments complete
- Schedule appointments and manage the treatment calendar
- Explain treatment options, procedures, and costs to patients
- Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities
- Coordinate with team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of treatment, optimize workflow
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and update patient information as necessary
Skills
- Experience at dental/medical office preferred
- Proficiency with Gold or similar software and electronic dental records systems
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and healthcare regulations
- Experience in human resources management
- Ability to handle budgeting, billing, and insurance claims processing
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and patients
- Certification from a recognized dental/medical office reception program preferred but not necessary
- Basic phone and computer skills, including typing, using emails, MS Office software, etc required

Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour
