We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal patient comfort.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups, acting as a liaison between patients and the dental team.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- Level II Dental Assistant Certification (including HARP) is required
- 3+ years of experience in general or specialty dental practice (required)
- Experience with digital x-rays (required)
- Knowledge of Maxidentsoftware is an asset
