Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient treatment plans, ensuring efficient communication between patients and healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience in either a dental or medical office setting.
Duties
- Coordinate patient treatment plans by collaborating with healthcare providers and patients to ensure clarity and understanding of procedures.
- Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately, ensuring all patient information is current and compliant with regulations.
- Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and necessary procedures while managing the office calendar effectively.
- Communicate with patients regarding treatment options, insurance coverage, and financial responsibilities.
- Assist in the preparation of treatment presentations for patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Ensure the office environment is welcoming and organized to enhance patient experience.
- Stay informed about new treatments, technologies, and best practices in the dental or medical field.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office is preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems is essential.
- Familiarity with medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Tracker software experience
