Job Title: Dental Office Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Dental Clinic in Toronto as a Dental Office Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dental office to ensure smooth, efficient, and effective service delivery. This role involves managing both administrative and clinical support staff, handling financial and scheduling duties, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining patient relations, and managing office resources. The Dental Office Manager will work closely with all team members to provide a positive and productive work environment while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Duties
- Manage the front office operations, including scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow.
- Oversee the maintenance of electronic medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Supervise and train office staff, including receptionists and dental assistants.
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Ensure that all billing and insurance claims are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.
- Implement office policies and procedures to enhance workflow and productivity.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, dental practices, and relevant regulations.
- Participate in other projects as needed by the business
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is required.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems; experience with Akitu One is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to supervise staff effectively and foster a positive work environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in staff management is beneficial.
- Familiarity with hospitals or acute care environments is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
