Dental Associate / Dentist
Location: Edmonton, AB
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time 3-4 Days a week
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages while ensuring comfort, trust, and satisfaction. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment. Experience with pediatric dentistry is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions (cavities, gum disease, oral infections, etc.)
- Carry out a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and more
- Educate patients on oral health, hygiene, and preventive care
- Accurately maintain patient records using dental software ( ClearDent)
- Collaborate with hygienists and assistants to deliver efficient patient care
- Stay current with advances in dentistry and best practices
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid dental license in Alberta/Canada
- Previous experience in a dental practice preferred (new grads welcome to apply)
- Familiarity with dental/medical terminology and electronic charting software
- CAD (Computer-Aided Design) experience is an advantage
- Knowledge or experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
