About the Role
Smiles on 5 is a modern, family-focused dental office in the heart of Waterdown. We’re seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support excellent patient care and smooth daily operations.
Schedule
- 35–40 hours/week
- Some evenings & Saturdays as needed
Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting, instrument sterilization, operatory setup/turnover
- Digital X-rays, charting, and treatment coordination support
- Inventory, ordering, and maintaining a clean, safe clinic environment
- Warm, professional patient communication and education
- Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and front desk to keep the day on track
Qualifications
- NDAEB-certified (Level II) Dental Assistant and HARP certified
- Strong attention to detail and infection-control best practices
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and organization skills
