Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in facilitating patient care and ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation through treatment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a background in dental or medical office settings, and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient treatment plans by collaborating with dental staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Manage patient records using Curve and Dexis, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide a professional environment, greet patients warmly, check patients in and out, manage the front desk operations efficiently.
- Communicate effectively on email, especially in correspondence with specialists, sending referrals, responding to inquires.
- Verify patient history, insurance, submit predeterminations, and assist with billing.
- Respond to and/or send emails, texts, and/or follow-up calls, with patients, as required.
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns related to their treatment.
- Collaborate with dental staff consistently to ensure smooth patient care, flow and treatment planning within the office.
- Facilitate communication between patients and office team (hygienist, dentist, assistant, receptionist) to enhance the overall patient experience.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the dental office environment.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist within a dental office is required.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
- Proficiency in using Curve, or other electronic medical record systems is highly desirable.
- Strong administrative skills using email, text, electronic and phone systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are crucial for maintaining accurate patient records.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$34.00 per hour
