- Lead the daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional patient experiences
- Supervise administrative staff, dental assistants, and hygienists, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment
- Oversee fiscal management including budgeting, billing processes, insurance claims, and financial reporting using systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix
- Manage medical records, patient scheduling, and electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations including JCAHO standards, HIPAA privacy rules, and OSHA safety protocols
- Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Proven experience managing a dental or medical office with strong knowledge of dental clinic operations and healthcare management practices
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading administrative or clinical teams in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with dental practice management software Dentrix; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, managed care billing, and revenue cycle management
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations (JCAHO standards preferred)
- Experience with human resources functions including hiring practices, staff training, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy clinical setting
